Blechnum tabulare, also commonly known as the Table Mountain Fern, is an evergreen, outdoor fern plant. Native to South Africa, this fern grows like a tree fern, eventually develop ing a trunk, with bright green fronds remaining on the plant all year long. The Table Mountain Fern will grow best in moist, well-drained soil away from direct sunlight. They are excellent plants for adding year-round colour and texture to partially sunny or shady borders and rock gardens or filling in gaps between trees and shrubs.
