Course Formats Full Course Duration: 1 day (8 hours in-person) Beginner-friendly Traditional classroom experience Interactive theory with games and group activities Ideal for learners who prefer structured, immersive training Blended Learning Duration: 4 hours online + 5.5 hours in-person Online portion must be completed before the in-person session Online theory at your own pace Shorter in-person session for practice Ideal for busy schedules or reduced classroom time Recertification Prerequisite: Valid Canadian Red Cross Basic/Emergency First Aid with CPR & AED certification Duration: 4 hours online + 5.5 hours in-person Note: WorkSafeBC requires retaking the full course (short recertification not allowed).
