Blissberry is a berry flavored fig with beautiful red and amber pulp. The complex berry flavor and sweetness is balanced out by a bit of acidic flavor. A pleasing floral fragrance also makes Blissberry a treat to eat. The pulp color can have some variation from a brownish-red to amber depending on growing conditions. While this variety originally comes from California, it has been grown in various locations over the last year and it is a common type that does not require wasp pollination. Blissberry was released by Sacred Origins in the spring of 2025, and has since proven to be a delicious berry fig. Sacred Origins is known for their discoveries of wild figs throughout California, making these some truly unique varieties from the usual commercial types. Terms and Conditions: ***Please be sure to read our Terms and Conditions before purchasing cuttings*** When do we ship cuttings? Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December): We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March. **All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October/November) will ship out first in November/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine. That is what we do and they've turned into our most impressive trees. Rooted Cuttings(Spring): We begin shipping rooted cuttings once they are mature enough to ship. The shipping period typically begins late April and continues into June. Regardless of the date you select during checkout, we will ship when ready during that span. Please do not ask for ETA's or specific arrival dates. You will receive an email when your order ships with UPS Ground tracking details. For all questions, please refer to our Fig FAQ page here.
