The Blob’s visibility helps draw trout into the area, while the droppers pick up fish that follow but don’t commit to the attractor. Slow Retrieve A steady figure of eight or very slow pull keeps the fly moving without killing its profile. This works well when trout are cruising just below the surface or holding mid-water. Deep Water Search When fish are holding deeper, allow the fly to sink before starting a slow retrieve.
