Come join us for the Flint Gypsies Block FRIEND-zy Sewing Class! Hurry and grab your ticket now, space is limited for this class! In this class we will go over using quilt patterns, measuring and cutting your fabric, and piecing. You will cut, assemble and sew your own block this class, plus you just may learn some fun sewing history too! When you leave this class you will have made your own block and leave with the necessary skills to go home and make more! This is a beginning quilter friendly class! Fabric and instruction is provided for this class, and other needed supplies are listed below. If you find a that you don’t have something on the list, come see us and we can fix you up! :) ) Sewing machine (and thread) 1/4 foot with guide (this is not required but will make your seams MUCH easier to keep accurate, this will be available for purchase in store as well) Rotary cutter Acrylic ruler (a 6x12 will be primarily used but if you have a 6x24 you can use that as well) Pins Scissors Frixion Pen/Fabric marking pen Cutting mat (we have a class one available but some like to have their own to use at their space so a 12x18 works great for this) *Due to the preparation time required for class materials, no refunds can be issued if you cannot make it to class.
