This rope is suitable for shibari. These Ropes will still have a bit of scratchiness but will soften quickly with use. Ready to use directly out of the box, we do all the hard work for you. These ropes have been broken and singed, massaged with a light coating of wax and oil, then baked in an oven. For many people jute rope is the traditional rope for shibari.
