You will receive a packet containing 40 grams or a minimum of 100 Bloody Butcher Corn seeds for planting. This dent corn variety is known for its unique coloration that some say ha s been likened to a butcher’s apron. With rather tall stalks, some reaching upwards of 10 feet in height, Bloody Butcher is great for flour, meal, and home brewing. Fresh ears may be roasted, though they are not sweet. For planting we recommend direct sowing the seeds in rich, fertile soil when soil temperatures reach around 60 F. Plant seeds in rows, 1 inch deep and 6-8 inches apart and on a 36-inch row spacing.
