Bloomquist Alan produces large, honey gold blooms with hints of a strawberry lemonade color. The high petal count and shape are eye catching and she is one of my favorites to grow. Bloomquist Alan is a bit of a late bloomer, so don’t be surprised if you don’t see her show up until August. My favorite thing about this dahlia: I love everything about this flower — it’s my absolute favorite to include in a bouquet. It also pairs wonderfully with purple dahlias -- particularly Summertime Merlot. Bloom size: Large — 5” to 6” Height: Tall — upward of 4 feet tall Tuber rating: Tuber production is decent — I’ve noticed that while it produces a ton of tubers, a larger than normal number of them seem to have “phantom” eyes (meaning it looks viable but it’s not.) Year I started growing this dahlia: 2022 This listing is for one tuber or one small tuber clump, which will produce one dahlia plant.
