This stunning blouse was made from burgundy chiffon in the late 1930s. The blouse has wonderfully padded puff shoulders, plenty of blousy fabric around the bodice and flattering ga thers at the waist. The fabric features an eye catching stylised white swirl design on a burgundy background. The neckline is accentuated with a tie collar and a large ruffle with a lace trim running down to just above the waist line. The blouse is closed a single row of small pearl buttons and has wonderful wing cuffs. Please note that the blouse is meant to fit loosely, do we would recommend being several inches smaller than the below measurements.
