You Can Tell Yourself It’s Only A Movie… BUT IT WON’T HELP! It was released as SECOND HOUSE ON THE LEFT, NEW HOUSE ON THE LEFT and TORTURE TRAIN. The ads screamed, Most movies last less than two hours! This is one of everlasting torment! It remains one of the most graphically fiendish films in exploitation history, the story of two teenage girls traveling through Europe, forced into a nightmare of sexual assault and sadistic violence. Irene Miracle (MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, INFERNO), Flavio Bucci (SUSPIRIA), Macha Meril (DEEP RED) and Marina Berti (WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO OUR DAUGHTERS?) star in this depraved shocker directed by Aldo Lado (SHORT NIGHT OF THE GLASS DOLLS, WHO SAW HER DIE?) and featuring a haunting score by Ennio Morricone. Experience evil gone off the rails: NIGHT TRAIN MURDERS is now presented uncensored with all-new Extras for the first time ever in America. Even though it's been saddled with the LAST HOUSE rip-off label, it completely stands on its own merits. —Screen Anarchy It still carries a punch... It can make one feel dirty and sick for watching the events unfold one moment at a time right before your widening eyes. —From Black to Red Stylish, with its share of brutality... It also has a superior sense of dread and anticipation over its American counterpart, and Morricone's score recalls ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST. —DVD Beaver More disturbing than THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT... The cast is more talented and considerably more charismatic, heightening the intensity of the suffering they inflict and endure. —DVD Talk Way, way dark... Even when Aldo Lado is ripping off THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT, he can't help outdoing his competition. —B&S About Movies A tense ride that takes some dark turns... This startling thriller is simply fascinating from the opening titles to the final shot. It still holds up. —Cinezilla It still packs a weighty punch... A bleak and provocative thriller that once again highlights Aldo Lado's unique vision and the fact that he's a sorely overlooked filmmaker. —From Behind the Couch A disturbing film that's definitely not for everyone... Aldo Lado's film is far better acted - and, if we're being honest, directed - than Wes Craven's THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. —Through the Shattered Lens A masterpiece of its kind... A profoundly unsettling example of the rape/revenge subgenre, and one that stays with you for days after. —Good Efficient Butchery Memorably twisted... It's simultaneously effective, sleazy and disturbing. Morricone's score helps bring everything to a grisly conclusion. —Rock! Shock! Pop!
