A small batch of Corriedale and dark Romney dyed blue in the fleece and processed in the mill. Blue with tinge of black. Second photo is closest to true colour. Weight/ply : Heavy DK / Worsted Weight (8 to 10 ply) Fibre: Corriedale 80% and Romney lamb 20% Meterage: 180m (195 yd) / 100g Recommended needles: 4 to 6 mm (US 6 to 8) Approximate gauge: Due to the nature of my small batch mill, yarn is not like fully commercial yarn and often looks more like a handspun with variations in thickness throughout the yarn. Each batch is measured on a McMorrin scale to give an approximate length per 100g. Please enjoy the non-commercial qualities of the yarn. Care Instructions: All of my yarn is non-superwash. Gentle wash with appropriate product such as Powerscour® Fibre wash. Do not wring. Towel dry and then lay flat until completely dry (in the shade). With pure wool only occasional washing is recommended.
