Blue, the fifth in the series, is hope. Blue was a long time coming. It was painted a few years years after green. The death of my youngest daughter two and a half years after my h usband put a hole in my heart so deep I couldn't even breathe... much less paint. I couldn't start over with red, orange, yellow, green..... so I did nothing - for years. But life goes on regardless of how we feel. Learning to Breathe Again was painted during a turning point in grief, this piece holds both weight and release. Between the depths, there is space—just enough to begin breathing again.
