Your loved one's ashes are sensitively encased at the base of this glass memorial sculpture, with a delicate, red flower rising up from them. Every flower is unique in both the way it's shape is formed and how it’s colours interact with each other. The petals of the flowers have the appearance of brush strokes, with their translucent edges letting the light pass through them. The sculpted flower and the ashes are then encased with a large layer of clear glass, to create a solid glass sphere. A little ash is also included in the flower itself, to show that a part of them will always live on within the flowers they leave behind them. The finished glass orb stands around 80mm tall, with a flattened base to keep it standing proud for all to see. Here at Red Robin Memorial Glass, every piece is handmade to order. So, just like every flower in the meadow, each one is unique. Your flower will vary from the images you see here and from every other memorial glass flower ever made. Not only do the colours and techniques vary, but we find that every set of ashes reacts with the glass in its own way and combines with the colours to create a one-off piece of stunning glass art.
