The blue knuckle derby has been a tradition in town, hosted by the Prince Rupert Lion’s club for over 30 years. Whether you’re back from catching fish or just supporting, it’s nice to have a warm beverage to keep your knuckles from turning blue. ABOUT THE BLUE KNUCKLE DERBY The Lions Memorial Blue Knuckle Derby has been a regular event in Prince Rupert since 1992. Held on December 27 from daylight until dark in tidal waters, hundreds of fishers head out to see who will catch the largest salmon! The event raises money to support groups and clubs in Prince Rupert and the surrounding communities and is supported by many local businesses and sponsors. SCENT NOTES Like mulled wine in your thermos on a freezing day! Gunmetal, Tonka and Mulled Ginger provide the base to notes of Deep Plum, Rosehip, Clove, Neroli and Jasmine.
