Wolf Rock is a known gestation site for the critically endangered grey nurse shark and up to 50 sharks can be seen here at any one time all year round. Although the grey nurse shar k looks quite threatening, it is very placid and my main focus was to be as still as possible and breathe slowly so as not to spook them as I waited patiently for a big female to swim slowly past me.
