(Clematis) Blue Light® Clematis boasts large, fully double 5-6 inch flowers in shades of lavender and blue. Wow! An early season bloomer, Blue Light® starts to show off in May and June, and you may also see additional blooms later in the summer. A compact grower, climbing 5-8 feet tall, and spreading 3-6 feet wide, Blue Light® is a nice selection for containers or gardens with the support of a trellis for vertical impact. Ideally, Blue Light® will do best when the vine and blooms are in sun to part shade, and roots are kept shaded, cool, and consistently moist. Single and double blooms can occur on old and new growth. Clematis Blue Light® belongs to Prune Group 2, blooming on both old and new wood. Minimal to no pruning is required. Flower color may vary due to environment.
