Designed by Marcel Wanders for Vista Alegre, the Blue Ming Collection is an updating of classic blue delftware and export porcelain. Wanders has been interested in the juxtapositio n of antique decor morphing with new technology- a similar foray is the Dressed series for Alessi. Dimensions: 1.1" H X 7.3" W X 14.6" L Microwave and dishwasher safe. Vista Alegre suggests handwashing, however, as they are against heavy use of abrasives contained in dishwasher detergent on their products.
