Blue Moon is a blend of cider aged on blueberries and dark plums, with orange wine (Seyval Blanc) and Gewürztraminer. Each dark fruit had a full year to macerate in cider, giving o ur native microflora ample time to feast. What's it like? Blue moon is juicy and silky with a delicate funk. Ripe blueberries and sticky red plums flesh it out, with a soft, floral Gewürtz and lightly tannic Seyval Blanc. Our native brettanomyces adds subtle notes of leather—but this is more fruit than funk.
