Inspired by Russ Carson, this thumbpick is the same one he uses. It is constructed using a custom designed stainless steel band and a talon shaped BlueChip pick. These picks are na med BCT-BR in memory of Byron Robbins. Byron was a close personal friend of BlueChip's owner Matthew Goins and an avid banjo player who lost his battle with cancer in 2018. We are proud to be able to have this small opportunity to honor him. These picks are laser etched, professionally machined, and hand beveled to create the best thumb pick available.
