Remove the storage cap carefully: Loosen first by gently twisting—don’t force it. Calibrate before first use: pH calibration is required before initial use and monthly thereafter for best accuracy. Probe Care Tips (Maximize Life & Accuracy) pH probes wear over time, but good care extends service life: Never let the tip dry out (if it dries, it dies). Store the tip in the Bluelab pH Probe KCl Storage Solution inside the cap. Do not use RO, distilled, or deionized water for storage or rinsing—pure water can damage the reference chemistry.
