Press backlight button to turn on/off the backlight. Press and hold the backlight button to switch between °C and °F. To charge the temperature gauge, gently rotate the top portion of the gauge 1/8 turn counter-clockwise and separate from the probe. Use included charging cable to recharge the unit using USB or a wall socket. The battery charging indicator will cycle from empty to full until the unit is fully charged. While the top portion of the unit is detached for charging, protect the probe from the elements by using the attached cover.
