As a cancer survivor, she was looking for a dilator set that was supple enough to work with her body post-surgery. There are many different ways to do dilation exercises, we recommend consulting your doctor or pelvic floor physiotherapist before dilating. This soft and flexible set is a good choice for those who want to introduce penetration in comfortable stages. It is not a good choice for actively stretching because the silicone is bendable and does not have a handle. Many people find it helpful to plan some uninterrupted time for dilation. Taking a hot bath or shower beforehand can help to relax the muscles, and vibration may help with this as well. Dilators should be used with a good water-based lube.
