Urban Apple® Blushing Delight™ apples produce yellow apples with a red blush. Fruit are sweet-tart, balanced, crisp and juicy. Fruit stores for 2-3 months and are excellent for fresh eating, salads (firm flesh resists browning), light baking and juicing or cider blending. Columnar apple trees are bred for compact, upright growth, making them ideal for small spaces, urban gardens, containers, hedges, or orchards. They grow 8–10 feet tall but just 2–3 feet wide, with fruiting spurs along the trunk and upward-growing branches. Despite their small footprint, they yield full-sized, flavourful apples.
