The BMAT is used by 8 UK medical schools, including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL and Imperial. It tests students numerical and verbal reasoning skills, as well as their application of sc hool level science and maths knowledge, and basic essay writing skills. Intended to complement other preparation which students undertake, this online course introduces students to the different formats of questions they’ll face and strategies on how to select questions given the time pressure of the exam. The course includes: 19 modules covering all 3 sections of the BMAT Lessons on the key skills to apply to the different question types Practice questions with worked solutions Sample writing task questions and model answers Timed practice tests Each lesson ends with a short test, on which students must score 70% before they can progress to the next module. The course ends with a full 90-minute timed paper. All content is unique to this test, making it an excellent starting point in preparation before students go on to complete more past papers.
