A special small-batch bottling of Oregon Straight bourbon from Black Maple Hill, aged for an average of eight years. Bottled at a good drinking strength of 47.5% abv. Black Maple H ill is a label owned by California Vineyards, Inc, a Non-Distiller Producer based in Northern California who sources bourbon and rye whiskies from around the country. Their earliest releases were sourced from Kentucky (via Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, another NDP); however, as whiskey-mania began to limit the number of barrels that distilleries were willing to sell, they began sourcing from Stein Distillery in Oregon. Purple Label, their straight bourbon, is a no-age-statement release bottled at 47.5% ABV. Show more
