BMPRO SwayControl Proactive Electronic Stability Control and Loom Proactive electronic stability control The BMPRO SwayControl system automatically corrects caravan and trailer sway, helping to prevent sway-related accidents. It works without requiring driver input by monitoring trailer yaw and applying braking force independently to the left or right trailer brakes. Installed on the underside of the caravan or trailer chassis, the unit connects directly to the trailer braking system. It continuously detects sway caused by road conditions, wind, passing vehicles, driver error, or improper loading and activates the brakes to stabilise the trailer. The system includes a prewired loom for straightforward installation. Features Independent Braking: Applies braking force to the affected side only for effective sway correction. Axle Compatibility: Suitable for single, tandem, triple, and four-axle caravans and trailers. Off-Road Mode: Automatically disables when sustained rough terrain is detected. Power Supply: 12V–15V DC from the caravan or trailer house battery (minimum 50Ah recommended). Design: Fully sealed and waterproof with a 2-year warranty. Loom Included: Comes with a wiring loom for easy installation; compatible with BMPRO Trailsafe emergency breakaway system. Sleep Mode: Enters low-power mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. Wake-Up: Activates automatically from brake controller signals. Activation Threshold: Responds when lateral forces reach 0.4 G. Specifications Dimensions: 55 x 89 x 146 mm Power: 12V DC Sleep mode current draw: 35mA Auto System Disable (ASD) with 5-second redetect Independent left/right brake control Status Indicator: LED Maintenance: None required Installation tip: Use the BMPRO SwayControl Mount for secure fitting (available separately).
