Product Details The boxy, period-correct design matches the contours of the center console and it blends in with the rest of the interior almost as if this cup holder came there from the factory. A deep pocket design ensures your drinks are always secure during spirited driving. A factory-style textured, and matte finish is applied to the cup holder's interior and exterior walls. A hidden, magnetic-latching sliding door in the base of the cup holder allows you to still access the storage below. This useful, and now hidden, storage area is a feature that is not offered by any other E30 center console cup holder on the market. Thanks to the practical removable insert, this cup holder can accommodate drink sizes up to 80mm (3.15") in diameter. A conveniently located hanging spot is found on the rear of the cup holder. This is used to hold the removable insert when it is not in use and it prevents the possibility of losing the insert somewhere in your interior. It also allows you to quickly switch between a large and small drink size due to its optimal location. Held in with a snug friction fit, this cup holder is easy to install and remove. No tape or screws are required for fastening. Storage compartment lining option: you may choose to have us apply a felt lining to your cup holder’s inner storage compartment which will reduce any rattling noises from objects that are placed within. This means that you may need to use a dremel to shave down the cup holder base to get it to fit. In this case, you need to shave down the cupholder base so that the top rails are extending above the top surface of the console so that the cup holder body can slide onto the base.
