Resetting your service and oil light on your BMW can be a hassle. Some jumper pins on the 20 pin connector to make this work. Now its a lot easier. NOTE: If your Inspection lights constantly glow, even after being reset, this is usually a fault of the SI Batteries. Plug the Device into the 20 Pin diagnostic socket of the car located in the engine compartment (OBD1), or under drive footwell (OBD2).2. Turn ignition key to enable the board electronic but don't turn on the motor.3. Press the button for the operation you want to perform and keep it pressed (about 10 seconds).4. The LED of the chosen operation will be on.5. Keep the button pressed.6. Reset is done when the LED is turning off itself.7. Release button.
