This has been upgraded with the new factory fitted tilting or "bucket" rear hopper for more versatility in bait delivery and hook release, allowing independent control for different presentations. This "new" rear hopper system offers better bait management and a dedicated hook guard release, making the simple Actor M5 a more advanced tool for carp anglers. Key Features of Actor MK5 Bait Boat - Basic & Reliable: A simple, entry-level bait boat great for beginners with basic remote functions. Hopper Capacity: Typically around 1kg in the center and 500g in the rear (before upgrades). LEDs: Front white, rear red LEDs for night use. Battery: Comes with a 5Ah battery (2.5 hrs use) but can take a 10Ah for longer life. The "New Rear Hopper" Upgrade - Functionality: Converts the standard fixed rear hatch into a tilting or bomb bay style door. Benefits: Allows for bait and hooklink to be released separately, or together, allowing for better bait spreading and improved bait presentation. How it Works: The rear Bucket Hopper servo/motor system allows the door to open and drop bait/hooklink precisely where needed, often at the same time as the main hopper, providing more control than the manual latch on the standard model. Night-time -The Actor is equipped with front and rear LED lights for night operation. They are recessed into the top of the boat to avoid shining directly on the water. Nevertheless they illuminate possible obstacles. The front LED is white and the rear LEDs are red, so you can always see in which direction the boat is pointing. There is an LED switch to turn off the LEDs during the day. Battery and Extended use -The supplied 5AH rechargeable battery is capable of providing up to 2.5 hours use. This corresponds to using the boat e.g. 100 x 50m back and forth. If this is not enough, there is an easily accessible battery cover, which allows you to replace the battery with a new one quickly. The 230V charger is easy to use and is included. The MK4 battery gives you the option to charge the remote control or even your mobile phone (USB lead needs to be purchased). A 10AH battery can be purchased separately. Low voltage warning -There is an indicator on the top of the fuselage. Quiet drive system -The engines and the propeller are optimized to keep noise levels as low as possible so as not to disturb the fish. Each propeller is surrounded by a large guard to prevent the intake of grass or other debris that could impede the propellers. Easy maintenance -The Actor was developed with a modular design in mind. This allows you to easily maintain your boat and replace parts yourself.
