The light lav ender flowers are much larger than its predecessor ‘Serendipity’ and blooms earlier. Standing 30-32 inches tall and spreading up to 24 inches wide, ‘Bobblehead’ is a very robust plant with blue-green foliage with each leaf having a little ‘twist’. Hardy in zones 4-8, Allium ‘Bobblehead’ likes to be planted in full sun to part sun locations. This drought-tolerant perennial can handle fertile to poor soil conditions once established. Blooming mid-summer into the fall, you will notice the light lavender blooms to be a favorite for pollinators and butterflies.
