Its combined weight load capabilities include 250kg for pressing/squatting arms and 200kg for cable/pulleys. The L409 has been around for over two decades, remaining relatively unchanged during this period. However, a two-year effort by a team of sport experts and knowledgeable coaches resulted in a product these professionals wanted to use. This redesign and improvement of the fundamental but effective concept has produced a superior product. All components of the L409 Leverage Gym, including finely calibrated levers and additional functions, have undergone revision to facilitate enhanced muscle contraction. Subtle improvements to moves like triceps extensions, biceps curls and lat pulldowns are complemented by more pronounced facets such as a range of motion for leg squats, a pull-up station with multiple handles, and a quick-release system for the squat bar, enabling users to safely position themselves atop the loaded bar without the need to lean. The two arms of the L409 can be used concurrently with a link bar to complete squats, deadlifts, shrugs, calf lifts, and other compound movements. Alternatively, they can be separated without the bar to execute isolated exercises such as the press, shoulder press, and more. Even when locked, the arms provide a stable station for dips. With two pulleys, one high and one at ground level, the L409 offers a range of exercises with a 200kg load capacity, including lat-pulldowns, triceps press, abs exercises, sitting oars, bicep curls, upright rows, and core twists. By attaching the included foot loop to the bottom pulley, even more motions can be performed, like adductors, abductors, hamstring return, and single-leg extensions.
