Body-Solid Pro Clubline S1000 Four-Stack Commercial Gym w/ Four 210 lb. Stacks
Body-Solid Pro Clubline S1000 Four-Stack Commercial Gym The S1000 is four commercial strength machines built into one frame. It carries four separate training stations and four sep arate 210 lb. weight stacks, so four members can train at the same time and nobody waits for a stack to free up. That is 840 lb. of selectorized weight on a single footprint of about 124 in. by 135 in. Body-Solid rates the S1000 full commercial. The mainframe is 11-gauge steel, the finish is matte black, and every weight stack is fully shrouded, which keeps hands out of the plates and keeps the machine looking new on a busy floor. Intended use: Full commercial What are the four stations? Each one has its own 210 lb. stack. Four people can start at four different places and rotate through the machine without stopping. Station What it trains Adjustable cable column Height adjustable single pulley for presses, rows, curls, pushdowns, chops and rotation work. This is the station that handles anything the fixed stations cannot. Press arm, mid row, leg extension and leg curl The multi gym station. Seated chest press and seated mid row from one bench, plus a leg extension and leg curl pad for quads and hamstrings. Lat pulldown and mid row High pulley for lat pulldowns and straight arm pulldowns, plus a mid pulley for rows and face pulls. Leg press and calf raise Cable driven leg press with a calf raise off the same platform. Lower body work without loading a barbell or free plates. See the S1000 in use Our own walkthrough runs the machine station by station. It is the fastest way to judge whether the layout fits how your members train and how much floor you will really want around it. How much room does the S1000 need? The machine itself is 124 in. long by 135 in. wide by 83 in. tall. That is about 10 ft. 4 in. by 11 ft. 3 in. of floor, standing just under 7 ft. tall. Plan for more than that. Four people training at once need room to sit down, stand up and walk between stations, so allow about 3 ft. of clear floor on every open side. A practical planning number is roughly 17 ft. by 18 ft. Ceiling height of 8 ft. or more is comfortable for the lat pulldown station. One note on the width. Body-Solid's own page prints 134 in. next to a metric figure of 3422 mm, and 3422 mm is 134.7 in. The S1000 data sheet says 135 in. We publish 135 in. because it matches the metric measurement and gives you the safer number to plan against. How does it ship, and how hard is assembly? It ships as 23 cartons weighing 1,816 lb. in total. Seven of those are machine cartons and sixteen are weight plate cartons. Assembled, the S1000 weighs 1,728 lb. The longest carton is 80 in. Measure your doorways, hallway turns and any lift before delivery day, because that is the piece that gets stuck. Delivery is curbside freight, so you need a hard, level surface where a pallet jack can move 1,816 lb. of cartons off the liftgate. Assembly is a real project, not an evening. Body-Solid's manual warns against attempting it alone. Budget two people and a full day, and expect cable routing and tensioning to take the longest. You will need a standard wrench set, a metric wrench set and an adjustable wrench. Most facilities pay for professional installation on a machine this size. Ask us for a quote before you order. There are four stations and four separate 210 lb. stacks, so no two stations share weight and nobody has to wait for a stack. How much weight is in the machine?840 lb. in total, as four separate 210 lb. stacks. You select weight at each station with a pin, the same as any selectorized machine. Can I get heavier stacks?Yes. Body-Solid builds the S1000 with an option for 310 lb. stacks instead of 210 lb. It is a factory order rather than a part you bolt on later, so decide before you buy. Ask us for a quote and a lead time. How much floor space should I set aside? The machine is 124 in. by 135 in. Add about 3 ft. of clear floor on each open side for people to move, which works out to roughly 17 ft. by 18 ft. in practice. Is it assembled when it arrives? No. It arrives as 23 cartons on a freight truck and is assembled on site. Plan two people and a full day, or ask us about professional installation. Will the delivery truck bring it inside?Standard freight delivery is curbside. Inside delivery can be arranged for an extra fee, and on a shipment this size it is worth asking about before you order. Is this rated for a paying gym floor?Yes. The S1000 carries Body-Solid's full commercial rating and full commercial warranty, so it is built for member use in clubs, schools, corporate gyms and public safety facilities. What happened to the name "Universal Weight Machine"?Same machine. Body-Solid lists it as the Pro ClubLine S1000 Four-Stack Gym. The model number is S1000 either way. Purchase benefits Free freight shipping within the continental United States, curbside with liftgate included Body-Solid full commercial warranty. The full terms are in the Warranty tab on this page. No sales tax outside Maryland Bottom line: Buy the S1000 when you need to serve four members at once on strength equipment and you would rather give up one large floor space than four smaller ones. If your room cannot take a 124 in. by 135 in. machine, Body-Solid's single station Pro Clubline machines cover the same exercises one at a time.
