This cup has been made on the pottery wheel using earthy Stoneware clay, hand carved and glazed in a white satin glaze. As this mug is hand made, variations may occur between pieces. Due to the hand carving technique, no one will be the same. I believe that these variations give each and every piece an individual beauty. A frosted clear silicone band is included for the small and large sizes for heat protection. It does not come with the 4 ounce cup due to size. The Cup is dishwasher safe however I would advise hand washing the silicone lid to extend its life. The Cup is microwave safe but again refrain from putting the lid in the microwave.
