NOTE: On February 17, 2025, the Corporate Transparency Act was reinstated following several legal appeals. FinCEN can once again enforce the BOI Reporting Rule and the general deadline was extended to March 21, 2025. However, on March 2, 2025, the Treasury Secretary announced that FinCEN will NOT be enforcing the deadlines or penalties against domestic reporting companies; only against foreign reporting companies.
