Boker Plus Tech Tool 1 Carbon Knife The pocket knives from the Böker Plus Tech-Tool collection might all remind you of the famous Swiss pocket knives. Instead of a traditional red plastic scale these new knives are enhanced with carbon fibre scales. The blade is made from Sandvik 12c27-steel, a stainless type of steel that was specifically developed as a knife steel. The blade is enhanced with a remarkable hollow grind. As such it is thin above the edge, which improves the cutting properties. It doesn't contain a real lock, but a slipjoint firmly keeps the blade in place when opened. The pocket clip is located on the right side and can be placed tip-up and tip-down. The back of the handle is enhanced with a solid glass breaker. The Böker Tech-Tool pocket knives are available as the 'City' edition and the 'Outdoor' edition. The difference between the two is only the colour of the handle. The City knives have a black handle and the Outdoor knives are enhanced with a green handle. There is also the 'Carbon' collection, with a handle made from black carbon fibre.
