Full Swing Breakdown: Perform a thorough analysis of the athlete’s current hitting mechanics. This includes examining and walking through every detail that pertains to your swing. You will prioritize what bucket is most appropriate for you. Pattern, Posture, or Path. Stance or Set-up, rhythm, movement and you can create momentum, bat path, timing, and answer questions you may have. Video analysis from multiple angles can provide a comprehensive view. Side by Side Comparison w/ MLB Player: We will compare your swing to that of a professional MLB player. Through this process, you will start to see the difference and the importance of performing the drills properly. Portions of the swing will stand out positively, highlighting similarities and differences to provide a visual reference for improvement Goals to Improve the Swing: Establish specific, measurable goals for improving the swing through drills. These could include aspects like increasing bat speed, improving contact consistency, adjusting launch angle, etc. Goals and drills will be tailored to your current skill level. Individualized Drills We will develop a set of individualized drills designed to address the specific areas identified for improvement in the swing breakdown. These drills may not be in the drip system. Depending on the athlete and what’s needed, will determine the extent we will have to go. Full Plan and Timeline to Apply Changes We will create a structured plan outlining when and how each drill and adjustment will be implemented. If necessary, we will include a timeline that allows for gradual progression and adaptation as the hitter improves. This plan will integrate seamlessly with the hitters regular training schedule. Keys for the Athlete to Apply New MLB Principles We will help you identify your KEYS and MLB PRINCIPLES. Identifying and understanding these KEYS will increase the speed of your developmental process. These principles will help you to stay the course when you may have someone attempting to change you without knowing details of “The SWING” better yet “Your SWING”. Video Chat Explanation of the Hitting Plan We will conduct a live video chat session (via Zoom, FaceTime, etc.) to explain the entire hitting plan to you. This session should clarify the rationale behind each drill, provide demonstrations where necessary, and ensure that you understand your role in executing the plan effectively. Full PowerPoint Presentation We will prepare a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation summarizing the hitting plan. This presentation should include: Overview of your current hitting mechanics. Comparison slides with MLB players. Clear goals and objectives for improvement. Detailed breakdown of individualized drills. Timeline and schedule for implementation.
