The Bold Coast Cowl was inspired by my love for the bold rocky coast of Maine. Certain colorwork sections of this pattern remind me of the waves that crash upon the rocky granite s
hores. Method: Knit in the round, from the bottom up using a straightforward colorwork chart. Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate. This is a great pattern for those trying colorwork/fair isle knitting for the first time where you will use a simple colorwork chart.Size and Fit: Adult. The fit is comfy and lightweight. Easily adjustable, if desired.It's a great way to use up your worsted yarn scraps! I've also designed a matching hat pattern in super bulky yarn called the Bold Coast Beanie. You can find it in my Etsy store. Supplies: -US 8 / 5mm 24" circular knitting needles-Worsted yarn (weight 4) in three contrasting colors:Color A: Approx. 135 yards. Color B: Approx. 45 yards.Color C: Approx. 35 yards. I used Malabrigo Worsted, but any other weight 4 yarn will be fine, provided you meet gauge.
