While in the sixth grade at the age of eleven, the author finds himself compromising the truth as he begins to lie to avoid embarrassing and sometimes painful consequences. Within ten years he grows (like leaven) into a bold-faced liar; hurting God, himself and his fellow man. After getting saved in the workplace at the age of twenty-nine, he repents of his past sins and offers restitution as God makes a way.
