73% Pinot Noir, 27% Chardonnay, from mainly late-ripening terroirs on the Montagne de Reims. After 7 years' ageing on lees the wine saw a dosage of 4 g/l. 'Lively and more floral t han many a Bollinger champagne – almost transparent and filigree. The opposite of heavy with marked but not excessive acidity at this stage.
