Bomb Busters is a fully cooperative deduction game for 2 to 5 players, playable in about 30 minutes. Designed by Hisashi Hayashi and published by Pegasus Spiele, it won the prestig ious Spiel des Jahres 2025 (Game of the Year). Your team are bomb disposal experts who must cut the right wires in the right order to defuse the bomb before time runs out.Each player holds a row of numbered wire tiles that only they can see. Through limited communication and careful logical deduction, the team works out which wires match and cuts them in pairs. Cut a safe blue or yellow wire and you make progress; snip a hidden red detonator wire and the whole team goes BOOM. Specialist equipment cards and character abilities give you tools to gather information and bend the rules.The box holds 66 escalating missions plus sealed boxes of surprises that unlock new components and twists as you advance through the campaign, so the challenge keeps ramping without ever being destroyed or used up.
