Materials Yarn: Eden Cottage Yarns Milburn 4ply (Fingering/4ply weight; 85% Bluefaced Leicester Wool, 15% Silk; 200 m / 218 yds per 50 g skein) Main Colour (MC): Steel × 2 skeins Contrasting Colours (CC): Small amounts; sample uses 18 × 3 g (54 g total) of Damson, Harvest Gold, Night Sky, and Rust Needles & Accessories 3.25 mm (US 3) circular needle, 40 cm / 16 in length, or DPNs 1 stitch marker Waste yarn of similar weight for provisional cast-on Crochet hook in a similar size to needle for provisional cast-on Tapestry needle Size One size: 20 cm / 8 in width × 56 cm / 22.5 in length Gauge 28 sts × 32 rows = 10 cm / 4 in over stocking stitch using 3.25 mm needles (or size needed to achieve gauge) after blocking Gauge is not critical, but it will affect the finished size and yarn requirements
