This particular bourbon is barreled and aged in Chinquapin oak which is air drie d for over 3 years. Through their special maturing process the bourbon then attains its unique characteristics with a distinctly woody undertone. Overall, this whiskey rules the tongue with dark toffee swirled in caramel, crushed walnut, and roasted sugar.
