This 2026 release of Bomberger’s Declaration Kentucky Straight Bourbon features the whiskey’s hallmark Chinquapin oak, coupled with the addition of Hungarian oak, thereby creating an intriguing, rich chocolate decadence around the cherry and spice attributes characteristic of Chinquapin. Both types of oak were naturally seasoned and air dried for three years with a custom toast and char. The result is a bold, expressive journey of a complex cherry profile underscored by baking spice, toasted pecans, butter toffee, and luxurious layers of chocolate, all supported by a silky texture.
