The Dee ring is similar in action to the Eggbutt, it prevents pinching and gives a slightly more solid feel against the cheeks. This prevents the bit from being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower and some slight poll pressure is introduced. The Dressage Control Plate is set at 45° to follow the contour of the horses tongue. The plate sits flat on the tongue offering a kind pressure which will bring the head in. Mouthpiece The Dressage Control plate is narrower than the conventional Control Plate and therefore applies more tongue pressure. The narrow plate compiles with some dressage association rules.
