Key Features The Fulmer cheek piece will prevent pinching on the sides of the mouth, and the extended pins above and below the bit, firstly prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth and secondly aid guiding the horse’s head which is great for schooling purposes. The Loose Rings make the bit less fixed in the mouth which encourages acceptance of the bit, and removes poll pressure. Our Snaffle is a popular bit due to the curved mouthpiece which distributes pressure more evenly over tongue and bars and reduces the nutcracker action. The offset centre link avoids the usual pressure point on the tongue. The nutcracker action results in the horse lifting its head, therefore offers a solution for the horse that runs with its head down. Cheekpiece The cheekpiece is available in 2 sizes, standard and a slightly smaller model for a pony. Mouthpiece The mouthpiece can be optionally extra curved, creating a more comfortable bend than the conventional, which reduces pinch and spreads pressure points around the bars.
