Reaching #1 on the Billboard 200 in it 's second week of release, (after debuting at #8), the album would go on to sell in excess of seven million copies in the U.S. while setting a record (that still stands as of 2025) of the most Top 10 hits of any hard rock record - including "Bad Medicine" and "I'll Be There For You", which both hit #1.
