Designed for jointing and finishing mortar, this Bon Tool product is specified for professional trade use.Product overviewBon Tool Mortar Bag with Tip — Super-Flex Silicone (21-167) is designed to provide controlled application when working with mortar and grout. The flexible silicone material compresses evenly, helping maintain a steady flow and reducing sudden surges or interruptions. The silicone construction is durable and easy to clean, supporting cleaner joints and minimizing excess material waste. A replaceable 3/8" stainless steel tip allows for precise application and can be swapped out when worn, extending the overall lifespan of the tool. The bag measures 24" long and 13" wide, offering a relatively large capacity and reach for longer joints. It can be used for both mortar and grout applications, including brick pointing, tile work, and other masonry tasks that require controlled placement. Performance and design Compared to more rigid or fabric bags, the silicone construction offers more consistent pressure during use. It also resists tearing under normal conditions and is less prone to material sticking inside, which can simplify cleanup. Typical applications This bag can be used for pointing brickwork, filling grout lines, or applying mortar in courses. Its length can help when working with recessed joints, and the wider opening may reduce the frequency of refills. Flow can be adjusted by varying hand pressure. Suitable users It is intended for professional masons, tile installers, and DIY users who want a reusable tool for controlled mortar or grout application. Care instructions Rinse the bag and tip with water after use to prevent material from hardening inside. Allow it to dry fully before storage. Replace the tip as needed when wear affects performance. Store flat or hang to help maintain its shape.Product detailsBrand: Bon Tool
