This old-fashioned roasting cut rewards slow cooking with savory, tender meat, while the bone contribute s additional depth to the cooking liquid and finished dish. Sourcing & practices Beaty Farms’ ranching legacy began in Aubrey in 1870 and now spans seven generations. The family raises Brangus cattle that combine Angus marbling and tenderness with Brahman hardiness. The cattle are born and raised on the Beaty farm and spend the majority of their lives grazing wide-open pastures. Those pastures are rotationally managed to encourage healthy forage growth, reduce overgrazing, and help protect the soil and land for future generations. The cattle are then grain-finished using a custom mix developed with animal nutrition experts, with ingredients selected for animal health as well as beef quality.
