The Bont ABEC 7 skate bearing has been extensively tested on elite inline speed skaters. Under the load of a skater, especially in plastic hub wheels, bearings can warp which slows them down. Thankfully, the Bont ABEC7 racing bearing is made from high strength steel which minimises this effect and keeps the shape of the bearing as round as possible which decreases rolling resistance at high speeds. The double shields assist in keeping the dust and dirt out of the bearing. With exceptionally low rolling resistance and pre-lubricated with a light racing oil, you are race-ready straight out of the box! Bearing Type: 608 Dimension: 8x22x7 Protection: ZZ Cage: SPCC 08F Quality: Bearing steel GCr15 Ball complement: 7 pieces Ball Material: Steel Pack of 16 pieces. Are you looking to buy the fastest inline skate bearings on the market? The Bont ABEC 7 bearing has tighter tolerances than the ABEC 5 bearing making it a slightly faster skate bearing. Making a bearing faster includes a number of factors including the material it is made from, the tolerance between the ball and outer race, how round the balls are and the lubricant used. As these inline skate bearings were designed specifically for skating, we have taken all of these factors into consideration when designing our ABEC 7 inline skate bearing.
