The Christmas manger tradition has held a special place in our lives for many years. This one-of-a-kind, interactive advent set includes a handmade wooden manger and a plush baby J esus, along with paper strips to use as ‘straw’ to record acts of service and kindness. Filling the manger with fresh ‘straw’ (each strand representing a good deed) reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas. Read along with your family from the included book introducing a new Christmas tale, and become inspired by the story of an innkeeper’s son, Abe, who prepared a place for Jesus’s birth in Bethlehem. “May straw fill this manger. A little, line by line. Through love and gentle giving of our hearts and time, selflessness and service in small and simple ways will make a home that's soft enough for a King on Christmas day.” Show more
